Signs of a Pedophile
Some of the following characteristics of a pedophile still take me by surprise (highlighted are the shockers or scary aspects). We all need to be aware of those around us, especially those around our children.
Characteristics of a Pedophile
· Popular with both children and adults.
· Can be trustworthy and respectable. Has good standing in the community.
· Prefers the company of children. Feels more comfortable with children than adults. They are mainly attracted to prepubescent boys and girls. Can be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual.
· “Grooms” children with quality time, video games, parties, toys, gifts, money or candy.
· Singles out “troubled” children or ones in need of attention or affection.
· Often dates or marries women with children that are the age of his preferred victims.
· Physical contact is usually gradual, from touching, to picking up, to holding on lap, to kissing, etc.
· Finds different ways and places to be alone with children.
· Mostly male, masculine, better educated, more religious than average. In their thirties and choosing jobs that allow greater access to children.
· Are usually family men, have no criminal record, and deny that they abuse children, even after caught, convicted, incarcerated, and court ordered into a sex offender program. The marriage is often troubled by sexual dysfunction and serves as a smokescreen for the pedophile’s true preference and practices.
· Are often but not always themselves victims of childhood sexual abuse.
· Their home is usually child friendly with toys, video games, swing sets, skateboards, pool, snacks, etc.. (Things to attract children to their home and keep them coming back)
· A female pedophile usually abuses a child when partnered with an adult male pedophile and is often herself a victim of chronic abuse.
· A pedophile can act independently or be involved in an organized ring, including the internet, NAMBLA(North American Man Boy Love Association), and other pro-pedophilia groups. Some recognize their behavior as criminal and immoral, and so, operate in secrecy. Some may be open and quite militant about their acts. They may advocate the normalization of pedophilia under the guise of freedom of speech and press, and use innocuous language like “intergenerational intimacy”.
Experts agree that pedophiles will not stop on their own, and will not turn themselves in. A pedophile does not take responsibility for his behavior and denies that they are doing anything harmful. They will abuse until caught.
Agreed also is the fact that they cannot be cured, just treated. Their sexual preference has always been and will always be, children. Their urges will always be present.

I'm so sick of people complaining about pedophilia. If you don't like it then don't leave your kids alone. raise them yourself and homeschool them if not then you'll always have children getting abused maybe liking it and becoming pedophiles themselves. am i dealing with a pdophile. i met this man a few years ago when i was down and out. i feel like he has brought me up to the level where u need to be. however, most of my family thinks that he is a pedophile. i must admit i've had my doubts as well. why? well because when i came to live with him he seemed to have this infatuation with his 15 year-old step daughter. it was like she had total control over him. when she said i need money, he said how much? ..and she was receiving child support from him every month as well. my dad told me that he had a major falling out with his ex-girlfriend who refused to allow this child to sleep in the middle of them at night. so i came along and i admit that the control she had over him was kinda unusual. after we seriously battled with the issue he reluctantly gave in. i want to also mention that he not only spent every dime in his bank account on this little girl, he also had slumber parties , if you will where her friends and family could come and get what they wanted out of him too. after the step-daughter admitted to me in so many ways that she was only coming around to get what she knew that she could out of him i put a stop to it. but he was very, very reluctant to do so. when he finally gave into my womanly demands, it was like he became fixated on my 14 year-old daughter who lived many states away. he knew she was troubled and he thought that we would be the ones to save her. anyways.. he sent me back to my hometown to get her and boy was he anxious to get back. he did't care that i had several other kids and a terminally ill mother, he wanted the 2 of home asap.so we finally get here. for the first 2 days he acts likes he's so into me, i'm the love of his life. and how quickly things would change. all of a sudden he didn't care how many hours i put in at work. this homebody was cruising around on the weekends, going to the beach and all something he doesn't do with me til this day. but i didn't want my daughter to feel as if i was taking her joy away from her. i wanted her to have a good time. and besides i was probably just jealous.but i couldn't stop thinking about the abnormal way of thinking he had. he thinks that 11 year-old girls these days are grown women, and that's hoe old they were when they became wives in biblical days. not only that he would say that if you see a father and daughter in a close relationship, it was because they were having sex with each other. just some abnormal shit to think about on a regular basis. anyways.. my daughter ended up running away. she went back to our home state and vows to never return. was it because when she was here he told her not to think about dating; he would be the only man in her life. he took her to the beach without me, and wanted her to swim in our personal pool (in her bikini) while he worked in the yard.Now that my daughter is gone we don't go anywhere or do anything. his ultimate dream is to get me through school so that me him and which ever of my dayghters wants to live with us, find a house way up in the hills away from society, and live happily ever after. he never includes my sons in his dream. there bad news for the both of us if you let him tell it.Fantasies, i don't know what he's thinking when he masterbates while i'm here with him. never in front of me. i just know when he does it. There is nothing wrong with pedophilia if it is consensual. A person who is sexually attracted to the pre-pubescent or under-developed has nothing wrong with them, why should they be thought to do so. The only way one defines a paedophile in common culture is one that performs or wishes to perform sexual acts with those under the legal sex age, in some countries the sex age is as young as 7 and everyone is fine with that. The only reason you think it's wrong is that society tells you it is, you choose not to think for yourself. You think it's wrong because someone says it is. If we accepted pedophilia then pedophiles would not be forced to rape children, they could have open sexual relationships.
